Every year, we leave ShutterFest with our creative cups full overflowing, really. It’s the kind of event that stretches your artistry, fills your heart, and surrounds you with people who just get it. But this year? It gave us a moment we’ll never forget.
On the final day of our stay in St. Louis, just as the lights were dimming and gear was being packed away, we were approached by someone who has become so special to us over the years Inacota. One of our favorite models, always full of grace and power in front of the lens, had just done something extraordinary. She had gotten married, that very day. And she asked us to photograph her and her new husband, David.
Y’all… talk about an honor.
This wasn’t a styled shoot or a planned session—it was raw, real, and full of the kind of love you can’t pose. After a week of creativity and controlled chaos, this was our calm. This was our reminder that behind all the lights and lenses, at the heart of it all, is love.
Inacota and David were radiant beaming with joy, laughter, and that beautiful newlywed glow. The trust they placed in us to capture such a personal, sacred moment… it meant the world. What we created together that evening wasn’t just a gallery of images it was a forever memory, frozen in time.
Inacota and David, thank you. Thank you for inviting us into your love story. Thank you for reminding us why we do what we do. We’ll always hold this session close to our hearts.
And to ShutterFest—until next year. ??
